To be married is to commit to the deepest relationship two adults can share.
When I think about the many weddings I have performed, what is most inspiring to me is the honesty I hear in people’s voices when they are reciting their vows. You can always hear the love.
That is the common element in all of them. Yet they are also all very different! For each couple must find a ceremony, a set of vows, and a way of expressing those vows, that reflects their own personalities. It can be easy – many couples are quite clear on how they want to celebrate their wedding – but for others there can be uncertainty. Or they simply may not know just how many ways there are to actually tie that knot! |

That’s where I come in. My role is to help couples search out the words, perhaps even the setting, that best expresses how they feel about one another. I am able to help with practice services, so that couples feel a sense of security on the all important day when they want everything to go right. And finally, as a registered Civil Celebrant I am legally qualified to marry you according to the laws of Australia.

When my husband and I decided to get married we already knew we were going to ask Gail to be our celebrant. We first saw Gail at my sister-in-laws wedding and we were really impressed with the ceremony. We later saw her again at the naming ceremony for our nephew and again were impressed with her personal and endearing touch through all of the ceremonies.
My husband and I have always had a special bond from the moment we met. I truly believe that there is one special person for everyone. In 2008 we chose to get married in October and started the process of planning the biggest day of our lives. We were getting very close to the big day when 8 weeks before the wedding, tragedy struck and I was diagnosed with Leukemia. It was so serious we were not sure if I would have the chance to get married and we had to postpone the wedding. Gail was such a support to us during the difficult time trough all the ups, downs, and treatment. When we finally made it to the other side she was there, ready to marry us. It has been a long and hard road but we are finally husband and wife and we couldn't have done it without Gail.
As you may know the task of planning a wedding is not easy and Gail just seemed to know what to do and say to help make it a much easier event. She was always available to give support and advice where it was needed. She provided ideas for our ceremony to make it unique and special to us, and we incorporated many of those ideas including the traditional Hand-fasting ceremony into our vows. She genuinely cares about each person and continues to keep in touch after the big day. We have nothing but praise for Gail and if you choose her as your celebrant she will only make your special day better.
