Hello. My name is Gail Hughes and I'm a celebrant. My role is to help you create that mixture of romance and joie de vivre that makes a wonderful ceremony - a ceremony that will be the opening chorus of a joyous marriage.

When I think of weddings or commitment ceremonies, baby namings or renewal of vows... the many ways in which we celebrate the relationships in our lives... I think about music. For my life has been lived around music. My husband John is a professional musician, and I think music captures the essence of these ceremonies. They make your heart sing and your soul laugh because your life is alight with love.

Whether your ceremony is barefoot on the beach at sunset with violins playing in the background... or under a sparkling white marquee in a tropical garden with champagne and tuxedoed guests... whether there are a hundred guests or ten... whether it is formal, or small and intimate... the day belongs to you.

And in all you do, you express your feelings about the future.
